Objective of My Language Conference
This “Conference” is organised with the aim of basically to promote the mother tongues in order to support the multicultural system with understanding that “without the cultivation of the multi-language, multi culture system can not be flourished in reality.”
Because:
“Language, Culture and Identity are intricately linked, so loss of language must also to a large degree signify loss of culture”
And the greatest barrier to preserve the culture is “multi-cultural countries are still carrying-on the monolingual system.
That is why, the very sadden thing is, people from culturally and linguistically divorced county have not been recognised by their language identity.
So, to arrange this conference was essential to light-on for equity and justice and to make feel and realize all that “I love my language just as much as you love your language”
Therefore we believe that this conference surely assist culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities to achieve greater social inclusion and to maintain their linguistic and cultural identity.
